There are different types of models of Bounty Hunter metal detectors. Among these are Junior, VLF, Gold Digger, Fast Tracker, Tracker II, Quick Silver, Tracker IV, Lone Star, Quick Draw II, Land Star, Sharp Shooter, Land Ranger, and Time Ranger.
The junior model is designed for easy handling and comfortable use while the VLF is adjustable in size and great for young and older alike. Meanwhile, the Gold Digger detects all types of metal and with a headphone that allows the user to detect the presence of metals alone.
In extreme ground conditions, the fast tracker is advisable to be used. Just like the other Bounty Hunter metal detector, the only difference of the Tracker II is its redesigned features to make it perform superbly. It combines the ease of automatic ground balancing and manual setting.
On the contrary, the Quick Silver model eliminated the very difficult aspect of the operation of metal detecting, that is, ground balancing. It has only two operating controls and selection switch. For general purpose of metal hunting, the Lone Star is preferred. When it comes to accuracy, the Quick Draw II serves this purpose.
The Sharp Shooter comes with an LCD display that specifies the probable target ID. In case of rejection of a metal found, there is model that is designed to perform it which is called the Time Ranger. All features of the last model are very visible but with no hidden programming. These are installed in the Land Ranger.
